Oggi sono state annunciate le nomination della 96ª edizione degli Oscar. Come da pronostico, Oppenheimer è il film che ha ricevuto più nomination (13), seguito da Povere creature! di Yorgos Lanthimos, che ottiene 11 candidature, e Killers of the Flower Moon (10). Fuori dal podio Barbie di Greta Gerwig con 8, tallonata dal biopic di Bradley Cooper Maestro (7) e dal bellissimo The Holdovers (5) con uno strepitoso Paul Giamatti.
C’è grande soddisfazione per il nostro cinema perché Io capitano di Matteo Garrone è riuscito a entrare nella cinquina per il miglior film internazionale, se la dovrà vedere con Perfect Days (Giappone), La società della neve (Spagna), The Teacher’s Lounge (Germania) e La zona di interesse (Regno Unito).
La cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà domenica 10 marzo 2024 e sarà condotta per la quarta volta dal conduttore comico Jimmy Kimmel.
